Edward Wu is a composer whose works are actively performed internationally and featured on radio broadcasts. His music has been showcased at prestigious festivals and conferences worldwide, including the International Computer Music Conference (South Korea), Asian Composers League Festivals (Taiwan and New Zealand), WOCMAT Forum Conference (Taiwan), Zodiac Music Academy & Festival (France), Acoustic Frontier Project (US), Bowling Green State University MicroOpera Concert (US), KC VITAs Summer Series (US), and The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Composers Scheme (Hong Kong).

His compositions have been performed by notable orchestras and ensembles, including the Toledo Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Brazilian National Orchestra, Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, Zodiac Trio, Cong Quartet, Dawning Quartet, Unassisted Fold, and Hong Kong Wind Kamerata. A recipient of numerous accolades, Edward won First Prize at the 2018 New Generation Concert, organized by the Hong Kong Composers' Guild and Radio Television Hong Kong.

Edward holds degrees in music composition from Bowling Green State University and Hong Kong Baptist University, where his primary teachers included Marilyn Shrude, Mikel Kuehn, and Christopher Coleman. Also an accomplished pianist, he earned an LRSM in piano performance and won the Advanced Piano Four-Hands category at the 18th Hong Kong Asia Piano Competition.

His work and studies have been supported by several prestigious awards, including the Toledo Symphony Orchestra Composition Scholarship, the HKSAR Government Talent Development Scholarship, the HKBU Metropolitan Attachment Program Scholarship, and the BGSU Pro Musica Graduate Scholarship.
